Man tried to get eaten alive by snake – instantly regretted it

Explorer and conservationist Paul Rosolie, desperate to raise awareness about Amazon rainforest destruction, devised a shocking plan: to be eaten alive by an anaconda.

Wearing a custom-built protective suit with oxygen and cameras, Rosolie allowed the snake to attack and begin swallowing him. The suit protected him from injury, but the experience was extremely distressing. Before the snake could fully consume him, he called for help and his team pulled him out.

The stunt, filmed for a Discovery Channel documentary, was meant to grab global attention—and it did. Rosolie later explained that after years of watching the rainforest burn, he felt he had to do something extreme to make people care.
